Exhibition: Southeast Asia's Leading Event For Sustainable Design, Construction And Built Environment.
Show date: 17 - 19 September 2013
Venue: Putra World Trade Centre ( PWTC)
The MOA signing between the industry ombudsman and event organiser took place at the CIDB board room on 29 August 2013, sealing a 5 year stronghold partnership to co-host Ecobuild SEA with International Construction Week per 2014.
"The construction industry had been identified as the main culprit for causing environmental degradation. The essence of sustainable development is that in improving the built environment, we must not diminish the ability of the natural environment to recover and maintain its function as a life supporting system of the Earth. We believe, with Ecobuild 2013, our aspiration to spread the knowledge, skills and technology for sustainable construction will be realized," said Y.Bhg. Dato' Sri Ir. Dr. Judin Abdul Karim, Chief Executive, CIDB.
"The main objective of Ecobuild is to create awareness and encourage stake holders the importance of sustainability in the built environment towards better quality of life," said Mr M. Gandhi, Managing Director, UBM Asean.
"We are pleased to enter into this MOA with CIDB in co-locating Ecobuild SEA along with ICW. We believe this agreement will make the event the most definitive event in South East Asia."
With three weeks away, the first ever Ecobuild Southeast Asia will open its door at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur from 17 - 19 September 2013.
