The Homebuilders Association of Charlotte hosted the annual Major Achievement Awards on March 21st at Byron’s Southend. At this highly anticipated event, homebuilders were recognized for achievements in sales, marketing, design, and construction.
Eastwood Homes swept the event, winning 13 awards, the most notable of which was the title, Builder of the Year. This coveted designation is awarded annually to a company that excels in all aspects of the industry. This year, Eastwood was given this award in the category of homebuilders selling more than 250 homes.
Clark Stewart, owner of Eastwood Homes, commented, “It is a tremendous honor to be recognized for our hard work with such an award. This is a symbol of how far Eastwood Homes has come and it helps to solidify our place in a market in which we compete with much larger national builders.”
Not only was Eastwood Homes honored by industry peers as the builder of the year, they were also recognized for Customer Service of the Year. Mike Conley, Division President of Eastwood Homes, remarked “We place a great deal of emphasis on providing an outstanding customer experience, so we feel especially honored to receive this award.”
Bryan DeGabrielle was recognized as the Sales Manager of the Year. In response to his nomination, DeGabrielle stated, “I wake up each day and give thanks that I have the opportunity to make a difference in someone else’s world – whether it be by providing them with a new home, teaching them about their finances, teaching a salesperson how to better themselves, or providing someone an opportunity for a career in new home sales.” Bryan’s enthusiasm is a testament to his qualifications for this award.
A new category was introduced at this year’s awards. The Shining Star Award was developed to recognize the commitment of a behind-the-scenes industry superstar. Heather Lambert of Eastwood Homes was recognized with this award. Mike Conley commented, “Heather is the backbone of the division, and she truly deserves this honor! We are fortunate to have her on our team.”
Eastwood Homes was recognized with the following additional awards:
- Model Merchandising of the Year – for three model homes
- Product Design of the Year – for three floor plans
- Color Print Ad of the Year
- Marketing Campaign of the Year
- Silver Award for Design Center
Several New Home Specialists of Eastwood Homes were recognized for their achievements. Nate Daniel, Debbie Mullins, Robert Rosenberger, Barry Ryalls, and Kathy Choy were recognized with Silver Awards for sales over $2 million. John George was recognized with a Gold Award for sales over $5 million, and Hayley Myers-Brown was recognized with a Platinum Award for her impressive sales totaling more than $10 million.
