Homeowners looking to make lawn care less of a task will find yard work easier thanks to the technological advances in the John Deere X700 Signature Series. Innovation is at the heart of the X700, which offers operators exclusive technology that makes this lawn tractor engineered for premier performance.
The new X700 Signature Series boasts 54-in. and 60-in. high-capacity mower decks that are drive-on/drive-off and feature AutoConnect™ technology, which allows the operator to attach or remove a mower deck on the tractor. Once the deck is locked-in, the Exact Adjust ports and on-board deck-leveling gauge allow users to quickly make adjustments without getting out of the seat.
“Our customer research shows homeowners are looking for products that are easy to use, innovative, and comfortable,” said Kim Ridel, John Deere product marketing manager. “In response, the AutoConnect technology you’ll find in the X700 Signature Series merges the most advanced engineering, with the quality craftsmanship that is built into every John Deere.”
Users find comfort in the mower’s automobile-like operation, thanks to four-wheel power steering and full-time four-wheel drive. Additionally, the TwinTouch™ foot controls allow operators to easily select speed and direction of travel with a slight pressure on the pedal.
John Deere iTorque™ provides improved air management under the hood, offering cooler operating temperatures even in the hottest of conditions. The 22- and 25.5 hp gas and 24 hp diesel engines offer a smooth ride, and a two-piece 21-in. high-back seat with premium cushioning, is adjustable and fits the comfort demands of a wide range of customers. The new models also have a repositioned steering column, which allows arms to rest comfortably, avoiding fatigue.
“Celebrating our 50th year in the lawn and garden equipment business, this mower is a testament to the innovation and reliability John Deere owners have come to know and rely on,” said Ridel.
The X700 Signature Series has a best-in-class, 4-year or 700-hour bumper-to-bumper warranty.
The complete series, including the X710, X730, X734, X738, X739, X750, X754, and X758 models, will be available at John Deere dealerships starting in mid-February 2013.
