LEICHT to Open New Chelsea Showroom in Spring 2013

Germany-based luxury kitchen company LEICHT announced today that it will open a 5,000 square-foot New York store at 36 West 25th Street in spring 2013. The Chelsea showroom will be the third location for LEICHT in New York, following its first U.S. opening in 2011 on Manhattan's Upper West Side and its suburban showroom opening in Westchester in December.

"We are thrilled to expand to Chelsea," said Mayan Metzler, representative of LEICHT New York. "LEICHT is already the fastest-growing luxury European kitchen brand in the U.S. By opening our third showroom in two years, LEICHT will have the most comprehensive showroom coverage in the New York area among other European brands. Our philosophy of providing top quality products at better pricing is what makes LEICHT the number one premium kitchen brand in Germany and Switzerland, and has captured the attention of New York consumers. We look forward to presenting the new innovative LEICHT kitchens to architects and interior designers at the Chelsea loft showroom this spring."

LEICHT Chelsea will be located on the second floor of a full-floor loft with 12 foot ceilings and exhibit eight full display kitchens. Its featured workspace, Architect's Loft at LEICHT, will be available to architects, designers and their clients. It will also double as a classroom for continuing education course credits. Metzler's goal is to offer full American Institute of Architects (AIA) certification through an unprecedented number of AIA accredited courses to be held at LEICHT Chelsea.

The Chelsea store will vastly increase LEICHT's visibility in the New York area and enhance its ability to support its popularity in the trade community.
