Arizona based building supply and distribution firm Construction Supply, LLC, has completed construction of a new outdoor facility that will house the company's rapidly expanding rebar fabrication operation.
Located next to the company's 15,000 square foot storefront and warehouse, the new 6,000 square foot outdoor facility will support the growth of other services: including rebar shop drawings, complete submittal packages for estimating, and online ordering. Easily accessible off the Interstate 10 and exit 128, the facility is the first phase of a manufacturing site that will grow to ten acres.
"Construction Supply's investment is necessary to match the increasing supply demands of our customers and the great service they expect," said Andy Roediger, Founder and Chief Executive Officer. "The new facility will increase the efficiency of our fabrication process and enable us to scale up our production. We will be able to turn around rebar shop drawings, estimates and fabrication even faster than before. This is another example of how we continue to reinvest capital back into the company and increase the types of services we can offer our customers."
"Construction Supply's new rebar fabrication facility will be a valuable asset at our disposal when working on various projects," said Jose Vargas, owner of Vargas General Engineering. "The quicker we can receive contract pricing on our rebar needs, the quicker we can provide accurate and competitive bids to potential customers and service existing projects. Picking up additional supplies at their location is ideal for all jobs located in the West Valley as we no longer have to drive back into the city for new materials."
Construction Supply was conceived, capitalized, and began operations during the collapse of the Arizona housing market. Since then, the company has been recording triple digit sales growth, allowing the company to re-invest in inventory and equipment. Construction Supply is enjoying a rapidly expanding customer base, both on and off-line, with the success of the company due to its commitment to customer service, disciplined capital allocation strategy, and a new, internally developed web-based order management platform called REAL PROCURE.
"All the principals at Construction Supply strongly believe that the downturn, while very significant, created a unique opportunity to incubate and grow a new supply company," said Roediger. "We are delivering a value proposition to our customers that enable them to grow and meet their project goals and timelines; we will prosper alongside of them."
