Research and Markets has announced the addition of the "China Commercial Concrete Industry Report, 2012-2015" report to their offering.
According to China Commercial Concrete Industry Report, 2012-2015, the output of China's commercial concrete industry will hit 2.42 billion cubic meters by 2015.
In 2011, the commercial concrete output of China increased by 19.75% year-on-year to 1.42 billion cubic meters. In particular, the growth in Northwest and Southwest was the sharpest, up 39.1% and 31.2% respectively, while that in Central South and Northeast reached 23.9% and 24.2%, followed by North China and East China with 21.2% and 12.8% separately. In Jan.-Jun. 2012, the commercial concrete output of China totaled 740 million cubic meters, a year-on-year rise of 27.2%.
In 2012, the combined sales volume of top 10 commercial concrete enterprises is expected to stand at less than 7% of the national total, and the industrial concentration ratio needs to be further improved. Leading industrial players include China Resources Cement Holdings Limited, Shanghai Jiangong Engineering Materials, Tangshan Jidong Cement, CSCEC Concrete, BBMG Corporation, Shanghai Construction Components, Xinjiang West Construction Group, etc.
By region, the domestic commercial concrete industry strikes an unbalanced development. Big cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Dalian and Xiamen are large consumers of commercial concrete with the consumption approaching the level of developed countries, while underdeveloped regions lag far behind in this case and, some even have no commercial concrete batching plant. Therefore, the development of domestic commercial concrete market is expected to slow down in the main, but a few regions are projected to embrace robust development in this regard.
