Celebrating 30 years in the Pacific Northwest, Mortenson Construction announced today that the company has opened a new office in Portland, Oregon. With several projects currently underway in Oregon, the office will be instrumental in helping to better serve its local customer needs.
"Solidifying our presence in Oregon with this new office not only enables us to better support our customers, but it strengthens our commitment to furthering economic development in Portland, and beyond," says Jim Yowan, vice president, Mortenson Construction.
Located at 610 SW Alder Street (Suite 200), the new office will be led by general manager Jeff Madden.
As an industry veteran, Madden has worked with Mortenson for 16 years. His extensive construction experience includes the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery, the Wisconsin Energy Institute, University of Colorado Research Complex 2, and the Terascale Simulation Facility at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
"Jeff's strategic focus, proven relationship-building and dedication to the Portland community will ensure Mortenson's continued success in the Portland market," says Yowan.
