In 2007, SSG Brian Schar was deployed for the third time in Iraq. He was wounded at this time when an Explosively Formed Penetrator (EFP) fired the side of his vehicle.

SSG Brian Schar is now ready to start a new life with his wife Michelle by moving to Colorado after two and a half years of therapies, surgeries and treatments.
The Lifetime Windows and Siding “Build Brigade” is involved in working with Homes for Our Troops in order to make sure that the veteran SSG Schar receives a home that is significantly energy-efficient besides fulfilling his specific requirements.
