US-based Ryland Homes has announced that it has broken ground for the construction of a town home community in Columbia, Maryland.
The community will consist of four floor plans. The Glasgow and Edinburgh floor plans feature 2-car garages and dramatic architectural styles. These floor plans allow natural air and light to flow in the building and also contain spacious walk-in closets. The Dorsey and Linwood floor plans feature single car garages with large kitchen islands and the laundry situated upstairs. Ryland Homes also offers the opportunity to its customers to design their homes on their own through the Ryland Homes My Style Design Centre which is an interactive showroom. Customers can choose their desired finishing touches for their home at this showroom.
The community provides easy access to Baltimore and Washington D.C. It is also located at a convenient distance from the Merriweather Post Pavilion, Arundel Mills Outlet and Thurgood Marshall-BWI International Airport. The daily needs of the tenants of the community can be met by entertainment centres, restaurants and shopping centres that are located very close to the community. The company intends to make its model homes and new sales centre available to the public by September.
Ryland Homes has been in the business of construction since 1967 and has been involved in building more than 295,000 homes ever since.
