D.R. Horton, Ryland Homes and Pulte Group are on the verge of constructing home buildings at a Lancaster County master-planned community called Walnut Creek, which was promoted by Edenmoor Land Acquisition (ELA).
The Charlotte/Raleigh Division President of Ryland Homes, Jay Thrower stated that the distinct amenities and historic and natural beauty of the community that is located close to uptown Charlotte makes it unique, and hence builders are excited to construct homes at Walnut Creek. Thrower added that over 80 lots have been purchased by Ryland and the company provides home buyers with environmentally sound homes with great value and novel design.
It was announced in February 2012 that Bonterra Builders would start the construction work at Walnut Creek. Now, four builders have signed on and ELA is planning to select more builders to meet the design and architectural standards.
Kyle Corkum, L Star’s Managing partner, said that builders have been observing the advancements and transformation at Walnut Creek for the past few months. Phase Two of the building has just been completed and finishing touches are being made to the Walnut Creek Park. ELA is likely to announce its plans for building the amenity center in the near future. Corkum further said that with the association of D.R. Horton, Pulte Group, Ryland and Bonterra, Walnut Creek is regarded as one of the exclusive residential communities in the locality.
Mark O'Brien, D.R. Horton’s Sales and Marketing Director, said that the company is glad to be a part of this wonderful community and is looking forward to see the transformation once the construction starts.
Pulte Group’s Division President, Jon Cherry said that the company is excited to be one among the builders in Walnut Creek.
According to ELA, the construction of 20 new homes will start by July 2012.
