Calverton Corporate Centre, located in 3901 Calverton Boulevard, Calverton which has been developed by Merritt Properties, has received LEED-CS Gold certification from the USGBC. The building also received the Best LEED Core & Shell Project by USGBC Maryland.

The building covering an area of 123,144 sq. ft. and containing four stories was purchased by Merritt Properties in the year 2009 from SSK VP Calverton for $6 million. The company invested $6.2 million for renovation of the building which was completed in 2011. For the purpose of the certification, the building incorporated features such as usage of new two storied lobbies to allow more of natural daylighting, implementation of carpool and hybrid car parking, installation of T5 lighting and occupant sensors, smart metering systems to monitor the energy usage of the building, latest and energy-efficient HVAC systems with variable frequency drives, and computerized building automation systems.
All steps have been taken to ensure that the air quality of the building complies with the standards of the Air Quality Management Plan of Merritt Properties and water usage has been reduced by 35% by installing dual flush toilets and waterless urinals.
Other additional features that have been incorporated in the building are a new entry sign, a new driveway and parking area that have been redesigned, and alterations to the existing lobby. The building is presently occupied by three tenants who have taken up a total area of 67,674 sq. ft. in the building.
