Star Builders, a licensed remodeling company, received the Residential Universal Design award from the Oregon Remodelers Association for demonstrating excellent achievements in residences, which are suitable for people of all ages.
Modified floor plans, accessible entrances, smart home technology, and barrier free kitchens and baths have been included in the residences. Last year, the company received an award for residential exterior - specialty.
The award was the result of the Star Builders Accessibility Remodels Program that includes various remodeling services which can be adjusted according to the requirement of the customer and at the same time, the services are universal which means in case the home is sold off, the remodeling modifications will be suitable for the new owners. However, craftsmanship and experience are needed to maintain the design and character of the home yet satisfy the requirement of the customer.
A former U.S. Marine, Jason Robertson is the owner of Star Builders. In addition to this, he is also a member of the Salem Greater Area Chamber of Commerce, the Oregon Remodeling Association, and the Salem Contractors Exchange, and a Builder Director for the Home Builders Association of Marion and Polk Counties.
The Star Builders projects are recognized under a five star pledge such as Excellence, Professionalism, Respect, Commitment and Honesty.
