Trespa, a global architectural materials firm, has opened its new design centre in Santiago, Providencia district, Chile. The company informed that the new design centre will inspire designers, building owners and architects. The Dutch company has opened design centre sites in Barcelona and New York, and this is its third design centre.
Trespa’s Director Americas, Remon Veraart stated that these three design centre of Trespa will build on coordinated programs and synergies in order to add values to architectural communities in Europe, North America and South America. He added that the company opened a design centre in SoHo in order to establish its presence in the architectural community, and this has become a worldwide strategy with new Trespa Design Centres in China and Spain demonstrating the company’s global reach.
The General Manager of this new facility, José Bento commented that the company chose this location, as it connects three neighborhoods namely Vitacura, Providencia and Las Condes. Most of the architects, practitioners reside at these locations.
In April, architects, designers, partner business and dignitaries from the Netherlands and Chile were invited for the opening celebration that was held at the storefront showroom space in Eliodoro. Trespa’s new design centre is set amongst other boutiques and showrooms.The Trespa Design Centre at Santiago demonstrates the company’s unique range of products including Trespa Meteon, which is a solid cladding material.
