Wood Partners to Build Alta Heights Apartment Community in Washington

US based multi family developing company Wood Partners has announced that it plans to construct a 256-unit apartment community in 145 Height Blvd in Washington Corridor. The community building will be called Alta Heights Apartment Community.

The 256-unit will consist of four stories covering a total area of 3.5 ac and will be designed by Womack + Hampton. The construction work will be carried out by Heights Avenue Builders by May 2012 and the initial units are likely to be available by May 2013. Overall construction is likely to be completed by October 2013. The building will contain 1 and 2 bedroom apartments with each unit featuring stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, subway tile backsplashes, washers/dryers, under-mount sinks, garden tubs and showers in particular units, and vinyl plank flooring in kitchen and living areas.

Around half of the total units come with a technology package that includes an in-wall iPod docking station at the entry and mounted speakers in the living room. Common features of the community building are barbecue grills, outdoor kitchen with TV, fitness centre, club room, bar area, leasing office and another courtyard with water fountain and grill. The community is in close proximity to River Oaks, Eleanor Tinsley Park, Downtown and Memorial Park.
