Florida-Based SeaBourn Cove Green Residential Project Aims for Gold Level Certification

Florida-based Two Trails has announced that the company is offering its services as a third party verifier and green building consultants for the SeaBourn Cove project. A multi-family project that will be completed in a span of three years, SeaBourn Cove is located in Boyton Beach, Florida.

The SeaBourn Cove project will include a total of 456 units of town houses and flats in 23 acres. It will feature 2-3 stories high 800 sq. ft. single flat units to three bedroom units, complete with parking garages. Spreading the message of healthy living and sustainable building, the green project will be available for rent.

The President of Two Trails, Drew Smith stated that the SeaBourn Cove project in Florida will provide people the benefits offered by green buildings. Smith also stated that the Housing Group has designed the project for Gold certification, which is the highest level that any multi-unit project can achieve as per the National Green Building Program. The SeaBourn Cove project will offer its occupants long-term benefits including low maintenance costs.

The standard features of the SeaBourn Cove will include tropical landscaping, walkways, fitness centers, pools, courtyard, vaulted ceiling, granite countertops, energy-efficient appliances, upscale cabinetry, tile and hardwood floors, carpet, disability access, Internet access, broadband, controlled access, public transportation and garbage disposal.

Two Trails was founded in 2001, and offers green consulting services remodeling, residential and commercial projects, seeking LEED and other certifications from Florida Green Building Coalition and the National Home Builders Association.
