The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) has chosen a 2,500 sq. ft. to 3,499 sq. ft. single family home located in Lone Tree, Colorado as the best single family home in the US. The family home was designed and developed by Celebrity Communities and launched by Celebrity Custom Homes.
Every year NAHB awards the best homebuilding awards amongst contenders across the country. For the year 2012, 700 entries were submitted. Celebrity Communities has entered the competition only seven times and this is the first time that it has received a gold award. The detached single family home was Plan One of Celebrity Communities.
Apart from this, the company also won silver awards for Plan Two and Plan Three models which are semi- custom homes. These homes are presented as the Overlook collection for Heritage Hills and as the European Hillside collection at Pradera. This award thus provides a choice to customers looking to find a house in Heritage hills or Pradera. Celebrity Custom Homes is building a custom golf course in Lone Tree, Heritage Hills and Pradera. The builder also constructed four semi-custom homes last April which included large kitchen areas, open floor plans, large guest and master suites and casitas.
According to the President of Celebrity Custom Homes Dan Verdoorn, the company has always been focussed on creating building value for its customers and has worked with Woodley Architectural Group to create unique houses in the market.
