Building Communities Awards

Higgins has three entries shortlisted for the Building Communities Awards 2005. The awards recognise quality and best practice in both private and public sector housebuilding. One of their entries is shortlisted for a new category to this year's awards - the Placemaking Award. For this, we entered our pioneering £4m Hidden Homes project carried out for the London Borough of Wandsworth on the Lennox Estate in Roehampton.

The shortlist revealed in Building magazine and its Regeneration supplement this week that Higgins is also in the running for the training innovation award and for the prestigious affordable housing provider of the year category.

All the winners will be announced at a celebration dinner in the ballroom of the Hilton Hotel, in London's Park Lane on Wednesday 5 October.
