Eco Building Products (ECOB) declared the initiation of manufacturing coated wood products in its newly hired, massive coating facility in Salem, Oregon USA.
ECOB’s 30,000 sq.ft., facility is located in the centre of timber production operations. Overcoming the initial flaws, the company achieved a primary order with a customer from Bridgewater, Connecticut.
The location of the company at Salem ensures efficient production as the lumber mills are proximal to ECOB’s location. The widely used Douglas fir originates from the Northern Washington State to Southern Oregon, which is also proximal to the company’s location. The establishment of this new facility facilitates simplified purchase of raw-materials, due to its close proximity to the places where resources are obtained. The first order included the supply of two truckloads of coated lumber products. The company experienced reduced logistics cost, controlled supply chain, thereby resulting in increased margins.
The President and CEO of Eco Building Products, Steve Conboy said that the company has been on the move despite the inactive housing market. The company achieved market acceptance, thereby increasing its reliability among Home Builders. The company is proficient with a potential to carry out the manufacture of building materials in a seamless and efficient way. In addition, it contributes to the production of Eco Red Shield products, cost-effectively to the Northeastern and Hawaii regions. The company’s first order with the Bridgewater customer is an initiation of the company’s expansion into the east coast. It anticipates further development in the Northern Regions as well.
