Chobani, a premier yogurt brand in America broke ground for a domestic production facility in Twin Falls, Idaho. Chobani's sophisticated, high capacity production facility will be built upon 200 A and span 940,000 sq.ft.
Chief guests like the Honorable Mayor Don Hall, the Governor of Idaho C.L. "Butch" Otter, and various other Idaho dignitaries joined the Chobani executive team at the official ceremony.
According to the CEO and Founder of Chobani, Hamdi Ulukaya, the new opening of the firm is the next venture in its four-year history. The company believes that America has an unlimited potential for healthy and tasty foods.
Manufacture at the facility is expected to begin later in 2012. Supporting Chobani's expansion in Idaho, over 400 new job openings will be established. Hence, the company is intended to establish an onsite employee facility of 45,000 sq.ft that will include an open office plan, conference rooms, lounge areas, natural light, cafeteria, wellness area, training facilities, and daycare center.
According to Governor Otter, the company requires a standard supply of high-quality milk, with a supportive community, proficient and efficient employees, and a welcoming state government that encourages the industry, understanding the worth of its corporate citizens.
This Twin Falls facility will cater to the needs of consumers by making the Chobani products readily available in stores, thereby stimulating the company to offer new product innovations to market.
