BuildingIQ, a company that provides energy management software, declared that its Predictive Energy Optimization software, whose patent is pending, has been granted the EcoGen 2011 Award for the most outstanding clean energy technology innovation.
The AIRAH Award by the Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air-conditioning is presented to a meriting technology or product developed and introduced during 2010 or 2011 that assists in the achievements of clean energy industry in Australia.
The SaaS-based optimization expertise utilized by BuildingIQ in its first ever energy predictive software enables it to smartly supervise HVAC energy intake in commercial constructions without impacting the comfort of the occupant. It is considered to be the only available and scientifically demonstrated predictive modeling facility that can manage the energy consumption, cost of energy and comfort of the occupant astutely. The BuildingIQ software is devised to supplement the standard automation system installed in a building and to improve its performance thus assisting in a significant level of reduction in energy intake and expenditure. The software system is provided to both the retail and commercial construction clients on payment basis without the need of capital investment.
