International Wood Products to Distribute Trex Company’s Products in Pacific Northwest

Trex Company, a producer of wood-alternative railing and decking products, has appointed International Wood Products as its distributor to supply Trex products such as Trex Transcend railing and decking line in the Pacific Northwest region.

International Wood Products, headquartered in Clackamas, Oregon, is a distributor of superior quality building products. The company distributes composite railing and decking for more than a decade. Its major trading regions for Trex will include Alaska, Washington and Oregon.

Trex has recently introduced several products to its portfolio, including Trex Elevations steel deck framing, energy efficient Trex DeckLighting Trex Transcend porch railing and flooring system and various color choices for the Trex Transcend decking line.

Trex Company’s Vice President of Sales, Mitch Cox stated that the company is happy to add International Wood Products to its strongest distribution network of the industry. International Wood Products has a strong reputation in the industry for its service and support, and expects its cooperation towards Trex for attaining a sustained market share growth, he said.

International Wood Products’ Chief Executive Officer, Doug Hart stated that Trex is the top brand and pioneer in the composite lighting, railing and decking category. It is a strong collaboration between the pioneer in the outdoor living category and a premier distributor, and the company is happy about the opportunity this deal will bring to Trex and International Wood Products, he added.
