Hyatt Hotels, a global hospitality company headquartered in Chicago, declared that it has contracted an accord with ASB Tanzania, a fully-owned auxiliary of Albwardly Investments to administer the operations of Hyatt Regency Dar Es Salaam, The Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
The hotel located in the center of the city has started functioning as Hyatt Regency Dar Es Salaam, The Kilimanjaro from August, 2011.
The hotel situated in East Africa along the Indian Ocean, south of the equator, has 3 bars, 2 restaurants, and 180 rooms, which include 18 suites. The hotel has a meeting and event conduct space measuring over 900 sq m, which includes 9 banquet rooms and a 400 m ballroom. The hotel also has fitness center, an outdoor infinity pool and a spa.
Hyatt Regency Dar Es Salaam, The Kilimanjaro situated over Kivukoni Street in the center of the metropolis is said to be the biggest in Tanzania and provides a clear bids-eye-view of the city as well as the harbor, said to be the largest seaport in the country. The hotel was initially constructed by the government of Tanzania in the year 1965 and was bought by the present owner in the year 2002. It experienced a massive $55 million restoration and was formally re-opened in 2005, from then on the hotel is functioning as The Kilimanjaro Hotel Kempinski.
