Turner Construction Receives Construction Safety and Excellence Award

Turner Construction Company, a customer of Predictive Solutions has been recognized by the Associated General Contractors of America as one of United States’ safest construction companies and awarded it the Construction Safety and Excellence Award for 2011.

A builder based in the United States, Turner Construction aims at promoting an injury-free environment by conducting safety initiatives to ensure that every worker reaches home safe every day. In 2004, Turner Construction implemented SafetyNet, a safety program designed by Predictive Solutions. SafetyNet uses an advanced technology to predict injuries that can occur in the workplace and aids customers in collecting and analyzing safety data, which can predict and therefore, prevent injuries from occurring.

Ever since SafetyNet was implemented as a service solution in Turner Constructions, safety observations have been collected in over 3000 projects. Approximately 1 million safety observations have been conducted in 2011. Turner Constructions has witnessed a steady reduction in safety accidents ever since SafetyNet has been implemented.

The Vice President of Turner Construction, Cindy DePrater explained that SafetyNet provides visibility to determine unsafe conditions and risk behaviors so that the problem can be eliminated and workers can be kept safe.
