NCC, a construction company in India, declared that it has received orders valued at Rs 815 crore to execute a number of projects in Karnataka, Maharashtra and Orissa states.
The rail network and road work contract orders are received from the government owned companies. The company has also bagged a few more orders worth around Rs.322 crores.
The rail network development order happens to be the first order received by the company from Rail Vikas Nigam, Bhubaneswar. The project needs to be completed in a period of 36 months.
The elevated via-duct construction order it received from the City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra, owned by the government of Maharashtra is worth Rs. 160 crore.
The third order received from Bangalore Development authority, another government agency, is valued at Rs.119 crores and it requires the company to build a flyover and underpass roads. The contract needs to be completed in 15 months period.
According to Y.D.Murthy, NCC’s Vice President – Finance, all the mentioned orders are cash accords and the company has made the required funding arrangements to use as working capital to complete the projects.
