Technip declared that Endeavour Energy UK, an auxiliary of Endeavour International, has granted an Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation accord worth €70 million for the East Rochelle offshore development located in the North Sea of the United Kingdom.
The offshore development field is placed in 140 meters deep water around 185 km north-east of Aberdeen, Scotland.
The clauses of the contract requires Technip to provide a complete project management, which includes detailed design, manufacture, erection and pre-commissioning of pipe-in-pipe type flexible riser, an umbilical assembly, and its work will remain complete with the installation of manifolds and subsea isolation valves, backfill and rockdumping and covering of tie-in spools.
The contract will be executed by the operating center of the company located in Aberdeen. The flexible riser required for the project will be produced at the Le Trait, France located flexible pipe plant of its group and the pipe-in-pipe required for the installation will be welded at its Evanton, Scotland located spoolbase. The company will use its own fleet of vessels to complete the project in the second half of 2012.
