The introduction of a new department is aimed at cutting down the waiting period for less complicated jobs to less than 72 hours.

According to David Nardozzi, Armstrong’s General Manager, there is a two to three weeks waiting period for the delivery of permit drawings and blueprints in the pre-engineered steel building industry. The company has introduced the new department respecting the tight time schedule of its clients and offers them one more reason to choose the company for their requirements.

The new engineering department members will play an important role in formulating important steel policies and processes in collaboration with the customers of the company as well as taking feedback from the sales sections in the company. The already established procedures will enable the clients in receiving the blueprints in just 50% of the time thus allowing them to save on rising steel costs.

According to Eric Beavers, Armstrong’s VP of Operations who was s instrumental in the introduction of the new department, the company is in the process of enrolling professionals in their fields to form a group of engineers and exceptional detailers with varied backgrounds and interests.
