The Wells Fargo Building, constructed by the Suffolk Construction Company and located in downtown Miami, has become a LEED Gold certified building. The high rise Class A type of office building is the second in Miami to earn gold certification from US Green Building Council and also a second building project for Spinnaker Group.
The 47-storeyed tower having Class A office space of around 753,200 square was designed by Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolf & Associates and constructed by Suffolk Construction. Spinnaker Group provided the needed green design, LEED consulting services and commissioning services for the completion of the project.
According to Rob Hink, Spinnaker Group’s Principal, the new building contributes more than one million square feet of green working space, thus providing the employees a more productive and healthier environment to work in. The energy efficient building will conserve over 2 million gallons of water every year.
