Construction Trends in Jacksonville Real Estate Market and World Golf Village Area

According to Sherry Davidson, President of Davidson Realty a World Golf Village- based company, there is a definite change in the mindset of the people about their new homes. Though the economic decline had an influence on the ideas of people about their home construction a new set of construction trends are surfacing in the World Golf Village. He has outlined some of the most observed trends among the home buyers.

New Construction on Rise in World Golf Village

Most of the buyers are looking for enduring in-home care facilities for themselves and their parents who are growing old. They also look forward to having facilities in the new home to enable longer stay of their children. They prefer  smaller sized homes, which includes all the comforts and conveniences and they have started rethinking about the need for formal living or dining rooms in their day to day living. The home buyers are more directed to having enough storage facilities in their closets, laundry rooms and garages.

The home buyers are more focused about their outdoor living and are moving away from the thoughts of having just designer pools. They look forward to plan an outward space, a transition from the interior with outdoor kitchens, expanded porches, fireplaces and water features to provide real outdoor living.

Lastly, a number of home buyers are opting for eco-friendly designs such as solar installations, rainwater collection, tank-less water heaters and a landscape that utilizes native plants.
