AlloSource, a not for profit organization that provides bone and soft-tissue allografts for surgical processes, declared that it has formally begun the construction of a new two-story building at its property.
The company has overgrown its current Centennial headquarters and presently functions from different buildings in the business park. The new construction will consolidate all its operations from a single location, which will include medical training facility and research laboratory.
The proposed building will include space for laboratory and facilities to perform testing and research, freezer storage, clean rooms and supply chain support. It will also have enough space for office, conference rooms, equipment rooms, break rooms and a general storage. The existing building will be renovated to include freezer storage, material management, reception, and cleaning and sterilization rooms. The undeveloped space is earmarked for future expansion.
Intergroup Architects has designed the building project and The Weitz Company will handle the construction and renovation projects. Construction of the new building is anticipated to be finished in spring 2012 and the renovations will get completed in fall 2012.
