MasTec, an infrastructure building company operating all over North America attending to the requirements of a range of industrial clients, declared that it has acquired the ownership of Fabcor Target and its auxiliaries.
Fabcor is a Canada- based pipeline and facility construction services providing company and has its offices in British Columbia, Alberta and Dawson Creek and Grand Prairie. Fabcor offers facility construction services such as construction of new pipeline, modification and replacement of pipelines, construction of compressor station and well site, and modification and commissioning support services for gas plants. All the services are meant for the oil and gas industry.
MasTec anticipates that Fabcor will provide it the platform it requires to meet the growing opportunities in the energy infrastructure construction markets in Canada during the ensuing years. Initially, Mastac is looking forward to maintain the focus of Fabcor on projects related to pipeline and facility and has plans to take advantage of the investment to partake in other segments of the energy infrastructure developments in Canada.
According to Jose Mas, Chief Executive Officer of MasTec, the company will utilize the dedicated workforce and potent management team of Fabcor to penetrate the vibrant Canadian energy markets. He explained that the take over will allow MasTec to serve the existing clients of Fabcor and will allow exposure to a potential infrastructure market, which remains very close to its own markets.
