UNR Holdings Commences Construction of Phase III and IV of Nemchinovka Project

UNR Holdings has announced the commencement of its Phases III and IV Nemchinovka development with a ground breaking ceremony.

The company is planning to finish building on all the eight phases of the Nemchinovka development in the early part of 2013. Based on the current real estate valuations, the company expects to earn around $500 million to $700 million from the project.

The Nemchinovka development is a posh and lavish commercial and residential building complex located close to the Moscow Beltway in one of the suburbs of Moscow. The development when completed will have a total area of 2.1 million square feet, which includes a total living area of 1.3 million square feet.

To overcome the financial requirements for the completion of the phase III and IV of the development by the midsummer of 2011, 494 UNR, a subsidiary of the company, has availed a credit line amounting to $10.6 million from RosDorBank, a commercial bank in Russia.
