American Lighting Introduces LED T8 Lamp for Residential and Commercial Applications

American Lighting, producer and distributor of lighting solutions for commercial, residential and specialty markets, has introduced LED T8 Lamp, a new type of LED lamp meant for indoor use and a perfect substitute for currently utilized fluorescent lamps that measure two or four feet.

The LED T8 lamps can be fitted in existing fixtures intended for 24” or 48” T8 fluorescent lamps and do not need a light ballast. By doing away with the use of ballast, the LED T8 lamps get rid of possible failure points, thus reducing the costs related to substituting fluorescent parts. The energy-efficient lamps cut down power usage by around 45% and save costly replacements during the long-term usage.

The LED T8 lamp provides a bright white light of 4100°K and has a beam angle of 125°, thus offering maximum level of light for residential and commercial applications. The lamp normally provides up to 50,000 h of service life and eliminates expensive lamp replacements for a number of years.
