LHP Hospital Group, located in Plano, Texas, declared that it has selected Sandy, Utah-based Layton Construction for building the Seton Medical Center Harker Heights in Harker Heights, Texas.
The new medical center is being developed under a partnership accord between Seton Family of Hospitals and the LHP Hospital Group.
The proposed 83-bed hospital with a flooring space of around 191,400 square foot will have a full-fledged emergency service section and acute-care services center. The other services planned in the hospital include cardiology, oncology, obstetrics, orthopedics, neurosurgery and other surgeries, women’s medical services, imaging and diagnostic services. The hospital will also have facilities for general medical and surgical services. An official ground breaking ceremony is scheduled to take place on 4th April 2011 and the project is slated for completion in the third quarter of 2012.
Currently, both LHP and Layton are engaged in the building of Pocatello, Idaho, located Portneuf Medical Center. The 187-bed, 350,000 square foot hospital is anticipated to get completed and ready for possession in May 2011. This hospital will serve the people located in the greater southeast Idaho area.
