BUILDER Concept Home 2012 to Display Three Type of Homes

BUILDER, a magazine that publishes information, news and resources about the current trends, technologies and regulatory requirements and functions as the magazine of National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), has declared that its 2012 edition of its annual BUILDER Concept Home series will include three dissimilar homes each depicting the every day life requirement of a statistical group.

The three groups will include Gen X, Gen Y, and Gen B, the latter for Baby Boomers. The three homes will be opened for public display and will be accessible for free conducted tours at the International Builders Show, to be held in Orlando, Florida, from 8th to 11th February 2012. After the completion of the builders’ show, the three homes will be kept as working models in Lake Nona, Orlando located in Eagle Creek community.

The BUILDER Concept Home 2012 is conceived as a multimedia project to receive attention of the national media and recognition from the industry all through the year. One of the built homes will be made available online for a virtual tour of the professionals engaged in home building industry. The online part will contain complete details of the demographic research of the target buyer, market data, team profiles and product details. The Concept Home 2012 is designed to showcase systematic shifts observed in the home-design and development strategies, which include various product applications that make a project productive.

The Gen Y and Gen B homes to be displayed in the show are designed by Centerline Homes; a Southern Florida- based private builder, and Littleton, Colo-based Woodley Architectural Group. The Gen X home was designed by the Orlando-based Canin Associates and it also provided the landscape design for the project. Kay Green Design, an Orlando-based company has taken the responsibility for the interior design of the homes and will be engaged in marketing the homes. BUILDER has engaged Emerson International as its development partner
