Caruso Affiliated, a company with a range of greatly rated retail and mixed-use type of properties within its fold, has declared the construction commencement at 8500 Burton Way at La Cienega in Los Angeles.
The proposed eight story building providing 88 residential apartments and the ground floor offering space for a retail store will mix the modern construction factors with a choice of materials. According to Paul Kurzawa, Caruso’s COO, the building will equip the most current technologies.
The residential apartments are available from one to three bedroom ranges and will boast lofty nine-foot ceilings to receive copious natural light and will feature balconies for outside view and enjoy the climate of California. Each of the apartment unit will have hardwood floors; counters made of CaesarStone, quality stainless steel gadgets, plenty of closets and generously sized bath rooms. The building will incorporate floor-to-ceiling type of windows and a rooftop waiting area with a pool and Jacuzzi. The building will provide a liberal view of the city from the Hollywood Hills to the seaside. The occupants of the build will have an approach to the rooftop/penthouse floor, which will host a health center and a club room to host meetings and private gatherings. The building will have Trader Joe’s grocery store at the ground floor.
The modern glass and stone design for the building and other exterior and interior designs are created by the in-house team of an affiliated company of Caruso in consultation with other leading companies such as Togawa Smith Martin in Los Angeles, MVE Partners in Irvine and Hetzel Design. The company also hired BAMO, a globally known interior designer to design the apartments. The company has chosen Bernards as building contractor for the construction and the construction is anticipated to get finished in the early fall of 2012.
