GBD Hires Koffka, Phakos Design to Renovate Los Angeles-Based Apartment Buildings

Beverly Hills, CA-based Green Building Development, LLC. has engaged Koffka/Phakos Design to renovate and revitalize a portfolio of Los Angeles-based multi-family apartment buildings and certify them with the USGBC’s “LEED” for Homes program.

Each property is over 20 units, with some properties listed as contributing buildings within their HPOZ. Architect Cynthia Phakos adds: “These buildings make up the fabric of what we know as the City of Los Angeles, and we are excited that they are renovated in an environmentally sustainable way. We have much experience with the complexity of such projects, and are pleased to be working with 'Green' minded apartment building owners who are considering the benefits of a cleaner Los Angeles by minimizing their existing carbon footprint.” Funding is arranged by and sourced from Trust Deed Gallery, Inc.
