EMCOR Group, Inc. (NYSE: EME), a Fortune 500® leader in mechanical and electrical construction, energy infrastructure and facilities services for a diverse range of businesses, announced that its EMCOR Services Scalise Industries subsidiary has been awarded a contract for the installation of all electrical systems for an addition to Salk Hall at the University of Pittsburgh, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
EMCOR Services Scalise will be responsible for installing all electrical systems for a 81,000 square foot addition to Salk Hall that will add laboratory and administrative space to the School of Dental Medicine’s Center for Craniofacial Regeneration and the School of Pharmacy’s Center for Pharmaceutical Sciences; the addition will also allow for future renovation. Scalise’s scope of work includes extension of existing site utilities and service, installation of new switchgear, distribution of complete power throughout the facility, and installation of a new emergency generator. Additional scope of work includes installation of a new fire alarm and area rescue system, a new telecommunications system, new lighting protection system and new exterior/interior lighting, and installation of a new security system.
