Striffler Engineering Merges with Virginia-Based Architectural Firm

Striffler Engineering Associates, P.C., is merging with H&A Architects & Engineers, further expanding H&A’s presence in the Hampton Roads region.

Striffler Engineering is an established Virginia Beach firm that has been a part of the community for nearly 15 years. Former President, Pete Striffler, PE, will serve as H&A’s deputy chief mechanical engineer.

In 2007, H&A opened an office in Hampton Roads to expand operations in the region and better serve its clients. CMSS Architects merged with H&A in April 2010, adding architectural services to primarily serve the commercial market sector.

“We are always looking for opportunities to improve the service and quality we bring to our clients. Bringing in Pete’s experience and expertise certainly helps in that regard,” said President and CEO, Mike Matthews. “Pete as a veteran of the Hampton Roads construction industry will also help us solidify the firm as in integral part of the community.”
