The Top Product winners were selected using an e-mail ballot to readers of Building Operating Management who were asked to select their choices that met two criteria: usefulness to facility managers and innovation. Of 551 products that appeared on FacilitesNet.com between October 1, 2009 and September 30, 2010, readers chose 74 as Top Products for 2011.

"At Cooper Lighting, we are committed to developing innovative products that help facility owners and managers achieve energy savings," said Mark Eubanks, President, Cooper Lighting. "We are pleased that the readers of Building Operating Management magazine recognized the Halo LED H7 Collection and the Venergy Energy Monitoring Web Tool with the Top Product honor as ones that are most useful and innovative."

The Halo LED H7 Collection from Cooper Lighting features performance-designed, 6-inch LED recessed downlights, which can be used for both new construction and retrofit applications. The ENERGY STAR®-qualified downlights deliver a high color rendering index of 80 and offer the industry's widest selection of color temperatures. The Halo H7 LED Collection, with an optical design to provide smooth, even illumination from productive beam lumens, also provides an increased lifetime and reduced energy consumption. The collection is ideally suited for commercial, hospitality, healthcare, retail and residential applications.

Cooper Control's Venergy Energy Monitoring Web Tool provides actual metered lighting energy usage in real-time on any PC, touchscreen, Plasma/LCD display, iPad or iPhone. The tool offers energy savings and can provide entire building monitoring or be as specific as per individual circuit level. With real-time and historical data available instantaneously and automatic alerting features, the Venergy Energy Monitoring Web Tool enables facility managers to display critical building information, track performance, manage and control resource consumption, reduce environmental impacts and save money.
