Construction Digital and IQPC announce their partnership for Bridge Construction Russia, which is taking place February 9-11 at the Prague Mariott Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic.
Conducted simultaneously in Russian and English languages, the conference will be a platform for the bridge construction experts to facilitate the exchange of vital experience about advanced bridges construction and sustainability.
Case studies and site visits include:
- APEC 2012 Meeting in Vladivostok Projects: Construction of a cable-stayed bridge to the Russky Island across the Eastern Bosphorus Strait in Vladivostok
- 2014 Winter Olympics: Seismic resistant railway and motorway bridges in Sochi
- Western High Speed Diameter in St. Petersburg, the first PPP project in Russia
- Lochkov Valley Bridge and viaducts on the Prague Ring Road Section 514
- Steel-reinforced Concrete Superstructure: Reconstruction of the bridge across Msta River in Velikiy Novgorod

- Oparno Bridge Project on D8 motorway from Prague to Dresden, Czech Republic in a preserved natural area
This conference runs in alliance with AMOST Foundation, Russian Association of Bridge Engineers. Sergey Mozalev, executive director of AMOST, commented in a recent interview at Construction Europe: "Bridges are crucial for the modernisation and expansion of federal highways and railways, and represent one of the largest and fastest-growing segments of the construction sector, with high profitability and a high reliance on intellectual expertise and industrial know-how."
