KBR to Repair and Renovate Houston Independent School District’s Facilities

KBR (NYSE: KBR) today announced it has been awarded a job order contract by the Houston Independent School District (HISD) in Houston, Texas to provide repair/renovation construction at the school district’s facilities across the city.

KBR will provide a range of construction services that will vary in size and scope including: facilities repair, renovation and construction for various HISD schools and facilities. The job order contract is designed to provide a quick and cost-efficient method of delivering repair, renovation and construction services.

“This contract award further establishes KBR as a preferred provider of on-call construction services to the Houston municipal market,” said David Zimmerman, President, KBR Services. “I’m confident that our experience and longevity in job order contracts for projects such as this will allow KBR to provide valuable, reliable services to HISD.”
