CEMATRIX Corporation (TSX VENTURE:CVX) (the "Corporation") is pleased to announce that the Corporation's wholly-owned subsidiary, CEMATRIX (Canada) Inc., has completed and/or contracted sales to date for 2010 for the supply and placement of cellular concrete in the amount of $3.7 million dollars.
This includes the sales of about $1.0 million reported for the six months ending June 30, 2010. The Corporation still has multiple bids for potential work for 2010 that it continues to work on. In addition sales contracts in the amount of $0.9 million have been put in place for work in the first part of 2011. These projects are mainly for infrastructure projects in Alberta and Ontario as well as oil sands and refinery projects in the Fort McMurray and Fort Saskatchewan areas of Alberta.
CEMATRIX is an Alberta corporation with its head office in Calgary, Alberta. The Corporation, through its wholly owned subsidiary, is a manufacturer and supplier of technologically advanced cellular concrete products with applications in a variety of markets, including oil and gas construction and infrastructure construction. Cellular concrete provides a cost and labour saving solution as a replacement for rigid and other insulating materials in frost-susceptible or permafrost conditions. Cellular concrete is also used in void filling situations and as a replacement for granular fills and weak or unstable soils.
