Builders, architects, commercial developers and specifiers familiar with Richmond Tile & Bath may not be surprised by the retailer/wholesaler's latest product addition, but they certainly will want to take advantage of it.
The same holds true for consumers who have postponed home improvements due to tightened budgets, agreed Anthony S. Vanario, general manager, and Mike Musillo, vice president, of the Staten Island, N.Y.-based company.
Richmond Tile & Bath's recent purchases of two distinguished European-warehoused inventories are expected to result in thousands of dollars in savings for its customers.
"These products include some of the very finest Italian-made ceramic tiles available, along with top-of-the line toilets, basins, pedestal sinks, mirrors and vanities," Vanario said. "The porcelain tiles offer a timeless look with extremely high wear ratings."
Each of the deals, one in Italy and the other in Germany, were sealed in early September by Vanario, Musillo and major manufacturers Villeroy & Boch and Skytech.
"These acquisitions have placed Richmond Tile & Bath in a position to sell these superior products at prices that are considerably lower than higher-priced items of lesser quality," Musillo explained.
