ConservatoryLand, one of the UK's leading manufacturers and retailers of DIY conservatories have announced that they are to extend their indoor conservatory showroom with an additional area that is entirely dedicated to demonstrate the advantages of their steel conservatory bases.
ConservaBase is the name given to the company's new steel substructure and modular dwarf wall system, a state of the art steel conservatory base system designed to alleviate all the hard work and mess that is normally associated with traditional concrete foundations and brick walls.
The ConservaBase show model consists of a white PVCu L-Shape Lean-to conservatory sitting on steel dwarf walls fixed to the fully welded steel base frame.
The steel base, dwarf walls, conservatory frames and the roof are all part finished, exposing various components with a view to demonstrating how the complete structure is manufactured and assembled, and how the finished product will look.
David Bingham, Director of the company says "We believe that ConservaBase which we designed primarily for DIY conservatories, is the most technically advanced steel conservatory base system on the market and needed to build some kind of show model to help demonstrate this to our customers. We feel that we have done this very well with the latest addition to our showroom".
The ConservaBase show area also features an extensive range of real brick slip samples to enable the company to show their customers exactly what their finished DIY conservatories will look like.
According to ConservatoryLand, steel substructures are the future of conservatory foundations, completely indistinguishable from traditional builds and are already widely used to provide firm footings for many commercial buildings due to their simplicity and speed of installation.
David Bingham continues "Steel bases have been around for many years but have developed very little. Most systems on the market are a little outdated now and our ConservaBase system has many benefits including superior structural integrity as well as being designed for super-fast installation. They are perfect for our DIY conservatories as no builders or bricklayers are needed - it is a relatively easy DIY project".
