On Center Software Receives Dual Honors at 2010 Constructech Vision Award

On Center Software received dual honors at the 2010 Constructech Vision Awards, an awards ceremony recognizing companies that successfully implement technology into their construction businesses.

Hosted by Constructech Magazine, the ceremony awards both innovative construction companies and their technology enablers, like On Center Software. On Center Software's bidding and takeoff software earned the company both a gold and silver award for enabling two separate companies with construction technology.

On Center Software was awarded these honors alongside the construction companies that it enabled. On-Screen Takeoff® user L.P.R. Construction received a gold award for its innovations in the Steel Erector/Industrial Construction category. "On-Screen Takeoff is one program making a huge impact at L.P.R. Construction and giving us a competitive edge. Using On Center Software, our estimators are now more productive and accurate than ever," says L.P.R. Constructions Thad Lutgens. California-based RTI Construction won a silver award for the Specialty Contractor/Drywall category using On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid. Joseph Riley of RTI says of On Center Software, "This software has literally doubled my ability to estimate."

Companies eligible to receive the Vision Award included those involved in residential, commercial and heavy construction, as well as architectural and engineering firms, government agencies and facility management companies. Winners were awarded based on their application of innovative technology to everyday business.
