Cygnus Releases New Magazine for Concrete Polishing Industry

The Cygnus Construction Group announced today it will launch a first-of-its-kind Polishing Contractor magazine sponsored by the Concrete Polishing Association of America (CPAA).

The magazine is the only publication serving the concrete polishing industry, the fastest growing segment in the industry.  The magazine will share the CPAA's message of building and maintaining high standards of quality craftsmanship.

"We selected Cygnus based not only on the company's highly qualified, targeted reach but also on the credibility its media properties have within the construction industry. Their industry credentials, coupled with the variety of marketing vehicles available, will provide the CPAA with an opportunity to create awareness about the advantages of polished concrete. As the only magazine of its kind, Polishing Contractor will fill a void in our marketplace and ultimately contribute to a stronger and more profitable industry," explains Brad Burns, President of the CPAA.

Produced quarterly, Polishing Contractor will be distributed as a supplement to nearly 30,000 subscribers of Concrete Contractor and Equipment Today magazines and CPAA members. The inaugural issue will include bonus distribution at the International Concrete Polishing & Staining Conference (ICPSC), September 30 – October 3.

"Working with a team of the CPAA's caliber is very exciting," says Nancy Terrill, Publisher of Concrete Contractor magazine. "Our readers know that a diverse business focusing on a variety of industry aspects is a strong business. Polishing Contractor will position them for success by demonstrating how they can add polishing to their list of disciplines."
