Penn State University Honors CEO of Ruby + Associates

Jay Ruby, P.E., President and CEO of Ruby + Associates, and a nationally recognized constructability expert, has been named an Architectural Engineering Centennial Fellow by the Pennsylvania State University Architectural Engineering (AE) Department.

Penn State's AE Department is celebrating 100 years of Excellence in Education and Innovation in 2010 and is honoring Ruby, a Penn State grad, for his successful career in the Architectural Engineering Construction Industry.

"Penn State will always remain near and dear to my heart, so I'm thrilled to be named a Centennial Fellow by the AE Department," said Ruby.  "Ruby + Associates has become a pioneer and leader in the development of 'constructability' – a project approach based on real-world experience and improved communications to anticipate issues and achieve efficient, effective and extraordinary structural engineering results for our clients.  We believe it is a better way of doing business, really the best way to do business, and I owe a debt of gratitude to my Penn State education and to my colleagues at Ruby + Associates for helping me build my knowledge base and encouraging innovation at our firm."
