USGBC’S Orange County Chapter Recognized as Green Enterprise

The Orange County Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council was awarded the Orange County League of Conservation Voters Award for Environmental Business of the Year for 2010.

The award recognized the USGBC-Orange County Chapter as a green enterprise that has made a major contribution to the environmental economy for promotion of environmentally friendly practices and products and providing significant environmental educational content for the public.

The USGBC-OC promotes numerous events each month to provide environmental education for its members and the public. These events are available to members and non-members of the organization as a way of providing green building education and information in Orange County.
