New opportunities to achieve competitive advantage by employing the latest materials technologies to develop building products and processes - through access to resources that include £60 billion of research funding and 30,000 scientists - will be explained to those visiting OFFSITE2005* on 8 June.
Inventa Partners, the innovation and technology transfer specialists, are hosting a reception at OFFSITE2005 on 8 June at 5:00pm at the INTEGER Demonstration House. They will be advising businesses on how they can benefit from the 'Innovation Discovery Programme', which is a collaborative scheme with BRE to provide construction companies with access to the expertise of Inventa's European technology partners, who include QinetiQ in the UK.

OFFSITE2005, being held at BRE Watford on 6-9 June, will be the largest and most ambitious event on off-site and Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) ever seen in this country combining: full scale exhibits of building systems from around the world, many of which have never been seen before in the UK, with a stimulating case study based seminar programme that will demonstrate how MMC are delivering quality homes and buildings to time, to budget and sustainability standards.
