During the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (K/BIS), Jenn-Air is providing designers with educational opportunities at its booth. Two of Whirlpool Corporation's National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) Continuing Education Unit (CEU) courses will be taught by certified master kitchen and bath designers Morton Block and Judith A. Neary. In addition, Jenn-Air is sponsoring and co-authoring the K/BIS center stage presentation from designer Stephen Fuller on the growing trend of placing kitchen appliances in convenient locations throughout the home.
The courses include:
Built-In Refrigeration – Morton Block
With more than 30 years of industry experience, author, designer and training consultant Morton Block will offer expert information on built-in refrigeration to attendees on Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Downdraft Ventilation – Judith A. Neary
Judith Neary, a 25-year industry veteran and NKBA instructor, will discuss proper downdraft ventilation with attendees on Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17 from 3 to 4 p.m.
Appliances in Unexpected Places – Stephen Fuller
Stephen Fuller, founder of one of the most sought-after residential design firms, Stephen Fuller, Inc., will discuss the strategic placement of kitchen appliances – from warming drawers in home theaters to beverage centers in bedrooms, on April 17 from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m., located at N5701. Fuller's renderings throughout the presentation will include the new Jenn-Air® 3-D appliance models available for Google SketchUp™.
